Here are some common questions about Olive Fox Studio

Reiki is great for relaxation and stress reduction as well as symptom relief. Reiki can dissolve energy blocks and tension, detoxify the body, stimulate the body’s immune system, and more.
No. Reiki is a holistic therapy, which means it should be used to complement traditional medical treatments, not replace them.
Reiki is not specific to any ailment. It works on the entire self so it is helpful in all kinds of healing- body, mind, and spirit.

For the next several days, drink plenty of water to assist your body in the detoxification process. You may feel more tired than usual. Listen to your body; slow down and get plenty of rest. Eat light meals and avoid alcohol, smoking, and caffeinated beverages. Embrace any side effects of reiki, which may include headaches and dizziness, emotional swings, or a temporary worsening of symptoms.

  1. Keep it clean: gently clean the tattooed area with a mild, fragrance-free soap and lukewarm water. Avoid harsh chemicals, or excessive scrubbing
  2. Pat dry: after cleaning, pat the tattoo dry with a clean soft cloth. Avoid rubbing to prevent irritation.
  3. Moisturize: apply a thin layer of fragrance free, hypoallergenic lotion to keep the skin hydrated. Do this several times a day, especially if the skin feels dry. (cerave lotion is my recommendation)
  4. Avoid sun exposure: shield your tattoo from direct sunlight, during the initial healing phase. If exposure is unavoidable, use clothing or accessories, like hats, to help shield it.
  5.  Loose clothing: wear loose, breathable clothing to prevent friction and allow the tattoo to breathe.
  1. Mindful connection: Take moments to mindfully connect with your tattoo. Place your hands over it close your eyes and focus on the energy exchange.
  2. Meditate: Incorporate short meditation sessions into your routine, visualizing healing, energy flowing through the tattooed area
  3. Crystal cleansing: If a crystal is integrated into your tattoo, periodically cleanse it methods include moonlight exposure, smoke cleansing with sage, or using other crystal cleansing rituals.
  4. Reiki self treatment: If you are atune to Reiki, perform self treatment sessions. Direct the healing energy to your tattoo, fostering a continuous flow of positive energy.

My rate is $120 per hour. The price is relative to size, location, and the amount of time. There is no set price. It is ultimately up to the artist’s discretion, most pieces are flat rates.

No, I am a fully custom shop. I welcome reference material, but I will re-draw your material. I do not rip off other artists, therefore I will not steal a design.

Check our social media as of right now I do not, but that may change in the near future!

No. Small tattoos pricing varies with size, location, color, and detail. Prepare to possibly pay more.

Yes, there is, I usually ask for half of the quote if it’s a flat rate. I ask for 2 hrs down for larger hourly sessions.

No, they are specifically blocked time for you to discuss your ideas and references with me. This usually takes about 30 minutes or less. To book a consultation, please fill out the intake form!

If you reach out at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule your appointment it will still be kept on file. Failure to call ahead or forgetting your appointment will result in your deposit no longer being valid. This money goes towards the time I put into drawing your custom design and it holds your spot. They are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.

No, that is what your consultation is for.

No. It is illegal to tattoo a minor in the state of Tennessee.

Yes, I do them but they are not recommended or guaranteed.

My shop minimum is $85.

Technically the deposit holds your spot and covers the drawing time. Our end of the agreement stipulates that when you come in for your appointment your lined drawing will be ready for your viewing. Sometimes I may have your lined drawing ready in advance. If so, you may be able to set up a time to see it before your appointment date. But I am by no means obligated to do that, and in some cases I may have a lot of clients and it isn’t a matter of them being ill-prepared, your spot in line just hasn’t come yet is all!

It depends on my availability. In some cases it may be 6 plus months or it could be a matter of a few days. Try to be patient because an artist being booked out means they have quality work and are doing very well!

I don’t have only one style of tattooing. There are many different ways to do anything you may want so it is at your preference who does your tattoo. You should pick an artist you like!

Yes! It does vary upon the project though. Feel free to send me an email if you would like to commission something like a painting from me!

If it was a tattoo done here, I will cover the cost of the touch up. If the tattoo needs a touch up because of negligence during aftercare I reserve the right to charge for the touch up. Concerning tattoos that are not guaranteed (fingers, inner lip, and white ink.. etc.) you will be charged every time for touch ups.

There is no set price, it is at my discretion.

For complete aftercare check out our aftercare instructions.
